The Chicago White Sox are coming off one of the worst seasons in major league baseball history, finishing with a 41-121 record.
While some would think that such a poor season would force the team to add talent in the offseason, the White Sox are doing the opposite so far.
After dealing starting pitcher Garrett Crochet to the Boston Red Sox, the White Sox could potentially be willing to trade another All-Star.
“After trading one All-Star for Garrett Crochet, White Sox (general manager) Chris Getz may now do it again, this time with Luis Robert Jr.,” wrote MLB Network Radio on SiriusXM’s X- to whom

Getz said that there is great interest in the 27-year-old defender.
Robert debuted with the White Sox in 2020 and has played all five seasons of his MLB career with them.
After battling injuries early in the 2024 season, Robert was one of the only bright spots for the White Sox.
He played in 100 games and hit .224 with 14 home runs, 35 RBI, 23 stolen bases and a .657 OPS.
Getz said he believes Robert’s 2024 results are his bottom and as bad a season as you’ll see from him.
He was coming off his best season in which he played 145 games and batted .264 with 38 home runs, 80 RBI and an .857 OPS.
Getz says it’s important to be careful trading Robert because he’s a five-tool player who is just as valuable in the field as he is at the plate.
It will be interesting to see if the White Sox part ways with another of their top players and opt for a full rebuild in 2025.
