PGA Tour Michael Kim veteran, a Popular Tracking in XIt is starting an excellent start of the 2025 season. And positive vibrations continued to roll over Saturday at Arnold Palmer Invitational – though with an assist from a tour volunteer.

Over the past few weeks, Kim has been on a list. He won a T2 (and $ 818,800) at WM Phoenix Open in early February. Since then he has gone T13-T13-T6 and has been a match near the top of the leaders.

This week is no different. Through three rounds in tentacleKim is in five under and tied to the fifth. But The 31-year-old American would be in a much worse position if not for a Heroic hole During the third round. And to make that hole, he was supported in inspiration from a volunteer.

Playing the 12th para-5 hole on Saturday, Kim hit his car in a street bunker. He tried to reach the green in two, but ended up in another bunker in front of the green. From there, he had a long and difficult sand blow hoping to approach enough to give himself a look at the bird.

This is when a volunteer in the hole stopped to talk to Kim.

“I was actually talking with a volunteer waiting for Bob (Macintyre) to hit his third and he said,” Nothing you can do, “Kim shared with reporters after his round. “And in my mind I was thinking, well. 10 meters would be fantastic.”

But it turns out that the clumsy volunteer was something. Instead of knocking it closely, Kim got in the bunker for a large eagle.

Acknowledging that the volunteer had perfectly called the purpose, Kim decided to reward him with a special gift as soon as he pulled his ball from the bottom of the cup.

“I gave the ball,” Kim said.

Pro would add another late eagle to 16 for a stellar round of 67. This placed it within five blows of Collin Morikawa leader heading to the last round of Sunday.

Bay Hills ‘Crazy’, ‘Dead’ Greens

Kim’s performance was even more impressive taking into account Increasing conditions in Bay Hill Saturday. With the screaming of the wind and the players facing the mature greens that Kim called “Crazy”, many stars sat down the drivers. But not kim.

“These greens are pretty crazy. They are rusty. I don’t know, I feel like 10 Green can be dead, only the only trash that keeps it alive, but barely,” split Kim on Saturday. “Bob (Macintyre) and I hit, we feel like hitting good strokes and they went eight meters very quickly. So it’s just the greens, it’s really hard to become aggressive with them, just because you know you will have six meters back.
