Utilita Arena will host a national event on February 14-15, and the Keely Klassic will return the following weekend.
The Novuna UK Indoor Championships will be held in 2026 at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena and a little earlier in the season than usual.
The two-day meet kicks off on Valentine’s Day, February 14, and finishes on February 15, and will act as Britain’s trial period for the World Indoor Championships in Torun, Poland, March 20-22.
The meeting effectively takes over the old date of the former indoor Grand Prix of Birmingham, which was televised by the BBC and called the “closed-season Weltklasse” because of its high-quality fields, but disappeared after the pandemic.
This means that once again this coming season, the British will not meet in the Gold of the World Indoor Athletics Tour.
Instead, the World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold calendar is as follows:
January 24: New Balance Indoor Grand Prix – Boston, USA
February 1: Millrose Games – New York, USA
February 3: Czech Indoor Gala – Ostrava, Czech Republic
February 6: Gold Madrid Indoor World Tour – Madrid, Spain
February 8, INIT indoor meet Karlsruhe – Karlsruhe, Germany
February 11: Belgrade Indoor Match – Belgrade, Serbia
February 19: Match Hauts-de-France Pas-de-Calais Trophee EDF – Lievin, France
February 22: ORLEANS Copernicus Cup – ToruÅ„, Poland

The 80-strong World Indoor Tour line-up also includes Silver, Bronze and Challenger, but British events include the scottishathletics EAP Indoor International in Glasgow (Challenger) on 31 January, The Keely Klassic in Birmingham (Bronze) on 22 February, Vault Manchester (2 February) on 8 March.
