When you are as famous as world beatings World no. 1 Scottie Scheffler, there is a ton of things to deal with with that normal citizens not. From media responsibilities to autograph signatures to road recognition is a LOT. But receiving Venmo payments and claims from foreigners? This is the next level.
But on Tuesday at 2025 US OpenScheffler revealed that he listens as regularly from strangers that he had to take action.

The strange story came out during the print press conference of Scheffler on Tuesday Oakmont.

She was raised in answer to a betting question, and if Scheffler sometimes notices fans trying to influence his game to help their luggage.
“I think everyone listens from fans if they have a financial benefit or anything in their outcome,” Scheffler said.
And then he explained his Venmo issues.
“That’s why I had to get rid of my Venmo,” Scheffler said Tuesday, “because I was either being paid by people or people looking for a bunch of money when I didn’t earn. It was not a good feeling.”
You read it right. According to Scheffler, some fans, after winning a bet on Scheffler, send them money as a thank you. This is the same scottie sccheffler that Won a $ 62m Dollars in the course in 2024. His 2025 income stay in More than $ 14.5 million in June.
Scheffler could not set a number figure how much money fans sent it. But he discovered that demands came much more often than payment.
“I don’t remember more that someone would send me. Maybe a few dollars here or there. It didn’t happen almost as much as the demands. (Laughing).”
Scottie is preferred betting
If you have looked at Scheffler’s season so far, you know he has offered many opportunities to earn or lose bettors.
He has been the favorite of betting on every tour he has played this year. Although he did not live much of his chances when he first returned from a strange Christmas injury.
But it didn’t take long for Scheffler of 2024 to appear.
In May, he captured his first victory of the year at CJ Cup Byron Nelson. Two weeks later, he captured his third major title at the PGA 2025 championship. After a respectable T4-endish in Charles Schwab Challenge, he won again in Memorial.
All this led to Scheffler Being a favorite of the betting once again to open the Sh.BA.
