The Shakur – Tank baster? Shawn Porter’s comparison of Jaron Ennis’s skills after his victory over Eimantas Stanionis

POD host Shawn Porter went overboard and praised Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis after his victory last Saturday night, saying he was a combination of Shakur Stevenson and Gervonta Davis. He says if you “mix” tank and shakur, you get Jaron Ennis. It sounds crazy, but it’s Porter’s view.

Porter was trapped in the momentOverwhelmed by Ennis’s sixth round victory over WBA Welterweight Champion Eimantas Stanionis (15-1, 9 COs) in the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.

Over -loved praise?

Based on the performance, Ennis, the former IBF champion ‘showtime’ of 147 pounds, said he was like a combination of Shakur and Tank. He says Boots defense skills are in line with WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevesnon, who is near inexplicable, and his ‘explosive’ power is like Tank Davis.

“If you want a fighter who is just as definitely responsible as Shakur Stevenson, make it the right movement every time, that man (Jaron Ennis) just there,” Shawn Porter says on his YouTube channel and goes overboard, and glass jaron ‘boots’.

Defensive realities

Ennis is hit too much for him to be compared to Shakur. Porter’s ideas are completely unhealthy. Even against the Rocky Balboa-Esque Eimantas Stanionis, Boots hit hard in each round. He wasn’t hit much, because Stanionis was as limited as a fighter, but the bumps with which boots were hit were the type that many fighters would knock.

I mean, he was cleaning up by Stanionis. If this man had real talent, Ennis would have been knocked out.

“If you want a man as powerful as (135 pounds) Tank Davis, it’s just as explosion and the fight can be ended at any time and at any time,” says Shawn, who continues with his heavy praise for boots.

“You have a mix of Shakur Stevenson and Tank Davis, two of the best fighters in the world and one man (Ennis) right there. That’s how good the child is,” says Porter.

Ennis’s power is not explosive. He has to land a lot of shots to get knockout. In contrast, Tank Davis once has power and gets his opponents out with one shot. Boots will never be the kind of fighter.

Porter should put a sock in it and keep the glowing praise of boots until he beats two or three of these murderers:

– Vergil Ortiz Jr.
– Terence Crawford
– Serhii Bohachuk
– Janibek Alikhakhanuly
– Israil Madrimov
– Sebastian Fundora
– Charles Conwell
