The ring today released their updated pound-by-pound top 10 list, and the order must be completely reviewed. They have the right man at the number 1 place with Oleksandr Ulsyk, but after him the list falls into chaos.
Rebuild p4p
The list falls apart on the #2 and #3 places, with Naoya Inoue and Terence Crawford holding those positions. None of the guys have the CVs of quality victories to make them position so high. I’ll get it ready for the ring By eliminating Inoue Crawford because they do not win the quality of being on the list.
Inoue’s best victory is against a crop 36-year-old Nonito Donaire, and he almost lost to him. All the victories in the career of Inoue faced guys like TJ Doheny and Ye Joon Kim.
The ring’s new updated pound-by-pound
- Oleksandr usyk
- Naoya inoue
- Terence crawford
- Dmitri BIVOL
- Artur Betterbiev
- Jesse Rodriguez
- Canelo Alvarez
- Gevonta Davis
- Junto nakatani
- Devin Haney
Crawford, Inoue, Dmitri Bivol and Devin Haney must be completely eliminated from the list. Unified Light Heavyweight Champion Biblical is too boring a fighter to be on the list as well. His victory over Artur Betterbiev last Saturday was also questionable, with many people believing he was gifted.
Haney did not win a fight in two years and lost Ryan. He should not be on the pound-for-pound list unless failure is essential. Devin has that controversial victory over Vasily Lomachenko, and some feel that he got away with the possession he did when he was repeatedly injured in his fight against Jorge Linares.
My list
- Oleksandr usyk
- Canelo Alvarez
- David benavidez
- Jesse Rodriguez
- Ji opea
- Janibek Alikhakhanuly
- Gevonta Davis
- Ryan Garcia
- Rafael Espinoza
- Jaron Ennis
Benavidez deserves to be judged high because of his recent victory over David Morrell and his courage. He is more worthy of a fight against Canelo than Crawford, who has never fought at 168
