The ring came out with their latest pound-by-pound rankings, with one notable addition: WBC Light Heavyweight Champion David Benavidez added at the number 10 location, and Shakur Stevenson, the WBC lightweight champion, moved up to #9.
Benavidez’s unmistakable #1 case
Benavidez (30-0, 24 COs) should be at the number 1 place in the rankings because he has the best recent win over David Morrell. He also dominated the 168 pound division and beat all entrants before moving up to 175. His first victory in the light heavyweight division came against the former champion Oleksandr Gvozyk. It was impressive.
Terence Crawford’s inactivity problem
The ring’s p4p List must have a complete review because it is far in terms of the appropriate ranking that is meaningful. They have the inactive One -time fighterTerence Crawford, on #3. It is far too high. Crawford, 37, has not fought enough since 2019, and his resume is too weak for him to be on the top -10 list.
Updated Ring P4P list
- Oleksandr usyk
- Naoya inoue
- Terence crawford
- DIMITRY BIVOL
- Artur Betterbiev
- Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez
- Junto nakatani
- Canelo Alvarez
- Shakur Stevenson
- David benavidez
Oleksandr Ulsyk should be moved from #1 because of his best recent victories against British fighters, Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. Both of these guys are in their mid-thirties and have been washed for at least four years. In addition, none of their elite fighters have won on their CVs unless you count 40-year-old Wladimir Klitschko.
A new pound-by-pound hierarchy

- Oleksandr usyk
- Artur Betterbiev
- Jesse ‘The Bam’ Rodriguez
- Ji opea
- Andy cruz
- Janibek Alikhakhanuly
- Agit Kabayel
- David Morrell
What’s wrong with Shakur Stevenson
Again, Crawford did not make my improved list because of its inactivity and weak resume. Shakur Stevenson also did not make my list because of his lack of quality wins since moving to the lightweight section. I was not impressed with his abyss imitation of Floyd Mayweather Jr.. In his recent victory over William Zepeda on July 12.
