The right winner: Sam Goodman’s ‘Picasso-like’ master class caught Turki Alalshikh’s attention

Turki Alalshikh says he was impressed with the ‘fantastic’ performance by Sam Goodman (20-1, 8 COs) in a loss attempt against WBA featherweight champion Nick Ball (23-0-1, 13 COs) last Saturday night in their main support fight in the ANB arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Goodman’s ‘picasso-like’ box master class

Sam Goodman has a Picasso-like effort, throw bumps with perfect shape and make adjustments that have the frustrated ball. Interestingly, in the championships, Goodman switched things over and abandoned the box he did and chose to roast with ball from rounds 10 to 12.

Surprisingly, Australian-born Goodman Nick was out of those rounds. Who would have expected it? Ball was supposed to be the better puncher, but he even beat him in the field of his game.

The judges gave it to the ball with a scores of 115-113, 118-110 and 117-111. I had it for Goodman with a 115-113 score. He got better in seven of the rounds with his box and slowing capacity.

The right winner in Riyadh

Ball got the win, but Goodman took him to school and was the right winner. I wasn’t the only one who was awe of Goodman’s technical skills. After the fight, Turki said he wanted to see ‘more’ of Goodman during the future Riyadh season meetings.

Goodman was selected from the 122 -pound division to defend his 126 -pound belt against Ball, and he delivered a master class performance. He cut off Nick’s head all night and showed skills that the British fighter of 5’2 has never seen in his professional career.

Why Alalshikh wants more Goodman

“Good job, Goodman. He looked good, ‘Tim Bradley says on his channelL, respond to Sam Goodman’s impressive performance against WBA featherweight champion Nick Ball this past weekend in Riyadh.
