In the age of social media, either playing or watching a round of golf has become much more than just hitting low scores. Now it’s all about bragging to your friends, showing off the scenic surroundings of the course you’re on.
Go ahead and open your Instagram app and you’ll notice that a bunch of friends are probably posting photos and videos of the courses they’re visiting. Like grabbing hot dogs and a beer at the turn, posting about a golf course on social media has apparently become routine.
We’re all guilty of it, so it’s only natural to wonder which courses are getting the most love on Instagram, with My personal favorite is Chambers Bay (home of the 2015 US Open).
But which golf courses are the most popular on Instagram, with fans tagging the location more than anywhere else?
A new study from indoor golf experts IndoorGolfGuide has discovered the 10 most Instagrammable golf courses in America, simply by using the number of Instagram tags that mention each course.
