Moses Itauma points out that fans expect him to evaporate Dillian Whyte on August 16, but that they did not have the same expectations of Joseph Parker and Tyson Fury when they fought against him.
Fans believe whyte is done
Itauma (12-0, 10 COs) argues that the fans have unrealistic expectations of him. However, fans saw the physical decline in whye, and would expect him to be knocked out by Itauma, but also by one of the top 10 contenders in the division. You throw in Whyte with Lenier Pero, Richard Torrez Jr. and Agit Kabayel, and it’s going to be a nourishing madness.
Dillian Whyte: Shell of his former self
The whole reason itauma is linked to Whyte is that he is a broken shell. If he is still fighting in top form, there is no way on earth that itauma would fight against him.
Those heavyweights would clap on Dillian’s shell and finish him quickly. It’s not that the naive public believes itauma is wonderful. They know he’s not. It’s just that Whyte was so shot at this point in his career, that he would be food for any fighter worth their degree. Itauma shows his youth in his failure to understand why fans expect him to end up from Whyte’s broken shell.

Itauma cannot understand the state’s state
What Itauma does not understand is how weak Whyte looked in his last four battles. Physically, 37-year-old Dillian is not the same fighter as he was in his best years. He lost a lot from his game from brewing the witches to become a wealthy millionaire, to do with inactivity, weight gain and repeated poor performances.

Whyte was 28 when he fought Parker and fought at a much higher level than he is now. It is clear that fans did not expect Parker to beat him. Itauma seems a little slow about recording in its failure to fight the difference in age and physical deterioration of the version of Whyte he faces, and to fight the one Parker and Fury. Of course, fans didn’t expect the guys to destroy Dillian.
