The star power in this World Series matchup is undeniable as Shohei Ohtani and the Dodgers’ Mookie Betts compete against Aaron Judge and the Yankees’ Juan Soto.
It appears that the matchup of these two major market teams could help boost viewership.
With perhaps some of the most famous players in Major League Baseball participating in this World Series, it makes sense that more fans are watching the games.
It will be interesting to see if viewership continues to stay high as the series progresses, especially if the Dodgers make it three games to zero with a win in Game 3 on Monday.
The Dodgers are seeking their eighth World Series championship in franchise history and their last in 2020.
The Yankees are seeking their 28th World Series championship in franchise history, the last coming in 2009.
Games three and four will be played on Monday and Tuesday, with game five, if necessary, scheduled for Wednesday.
