It may come as no surprise to learn that a Man United legend is reveling in Pep Guardiola’s current troubles at Man City.
He has been the king of the for years Premier Leagueleading his team to win multiple trophies.
However, lately Pep Guardiola’s stress levelson the back of an 11-game winning streak, he has been noticed.
Pep Guardiola’s struggles amused the Man United legend
This did not bother Paul Scholeswho showed no mercy during a conversation about The Overlap podcast.
“I don’t think there was a lot of quality in the game, probably one of the worst derbies for years,” he said of the Super Sunday game.
“It’s a struggle to see City at the moment.”
Despite seeming to recognize Man CityAlas, it quickly doubled.
“It’s not a fight, it’s great to be fair. There is no light at the end of the tunnel (…) I don’t see where the next victory is coming from”.
Amorim on the rise as Guardiola’s stress continues
It was a game he saw Marcus Rashford fell for Ruben Amorimas well as to Alejandro Garnacho that he was not given a place in the Man United match day template.
The bottom line for Guardiola and his serial winners is that they need to find their mojo and fast.
They are currently fifth in the English top flight and nine points behind leaders Liverpool in the table.
Their next four games over the festive period are against Aston Villa, Everton, Leicester City and West Ham United, all of which are winnable, as far as that quartet is concerned.
However, the way City are currently playing means there are no guarantees, and Scholes will almost certainly continue to enjoy his downfall if that is the case.
