Anthony Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, says he is not sure if they will fight Jake Paul in February or March 2026. He is concerned about Paul (12-1, 7 food) who is “beaten” by Gervonta Davis in their November 14 match at Netflix. A loss for Jake would change the plans for Joshua.
Hearn stated that he knew Paul would fight in November, but he didn’t think it would be a lightweight tank Davis. It changes things.
Hearn says they’re not just sitting waiting until November 14 to see the outcome of the Paul-Davis battle before planning Joshua’s match in early 2026. He will start Joshua to fight someone else early next year. This is a missed opportunity for Paul and Joshua.
“We knew Jake would fight on this side of the year. I think I was the first one to say three or four months ago that the battle between Gervonta Davis and Jake Paul was agreed. I didn’t expect it to be announced today, ‘Eddie Hearn said Fighting type.
If Hearn knows ahead of time that Jake Paul will fight Tank Davis in November, he should not be upset about and talk about changing his plans for early 2026.

Paul’s fight against Tank Davis is logical to make because it involves two great popular fighters. Jake tried to call out other fighters like Canelo Alvarez, but had no happiness. Paul and his team were a good step through Gervonta.
