The Los Angeles Dodgers won the eighth World Series title in franchise history by defeating the New York Yankees.
So, entering the offseason, the Dodgers already had one of the best rosters in Major League Baseball, but they continue to add talent instead of sitting idle.
The Dodgers signed starter Blake Snell and re-signed shortstop Teoscar Hernandez, and now deal with an outfielder.
“Free agent Haesong Kim and the Los Angeles Dodgers have agreed to a three-year, $12.5 million contract, according to a source familiar with the deal. There is an option (to be picked up) for $22 million through 2028-29.” wrote Robert Murray of FanSided at X.

The Dodgers were expected to have a free agent outfield signing this offseason, but Kim wasn’t a name that came to mind.
With Japanese stars Shohei Otani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto already on the team, the Dodgers are expected to add Japanese pitcher Rocky Sasaki as well.
Although the Dodgers can still sign Sasaki, they are bringing Kim over from Korea.
In 2024, the 25-year-old played in 127 games with a .326 batting average, 11 home runs, 75 RBI and an .841 OPS.
The Dodgers look like they could have arguably the best roster going into the 2025 season.
As they reload this offseason, Sasaki is a name to keep an eye on as he has yet to sign with an MLB team.
Even without him, the Dodgers are in a good position to win back-to-back World Series titles for the first time in their history.
