The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the New York Yankees in Game 5 of the World Series to win their eighth title in franchise history.
It featured a whirlwind rollercoaster of events that led to a come-from-behind 7-6 victory in the final game.
After a World Series title, teams usually hold a parade to celebrate in their hometown.
There has been a bit of a hiccup in this Dodgers streak that probably won’t come as a surprise to many.
“Even the champs have to deal with Los Angeles traffic,” MLB wrote at the X, where the Dodgers’ caravan stops.

The Dodgers trailed by five runs at one point in Game 5, but a Yankees defensive collapse led to a five-run fifth inning that tied the game.
It looks like the Dodgers are having a good time as they celebrate their title with their fans.
After the festivities are over, the Dodgers will begin preparing for the 2025 season in an attempt to defend their World Series title.
The Dodgers have never won back-to-back World Series, but they are well positioned to do so for the first time next season.
