The Diamond League final returns to Zurich in 2025



The 2025 season will feature 15 matches across four continents and 13 countries, with more prize money on offer to athletes.

The Diamond League final will return to Zurich next season for the first time in two years.

Next year World class Zurich It will take place on August 27-28, bringing down the curtain on the Diamond League season, which includes 15 matches across four continents and 13 countries.

The 2025 season kicks off in Xiamen on April 26, with the Diamond League remaining in China in Shanghai/Suzhou on May 3.

After that it’s Doha and Rabat before the European leg of the season kicks off in Rome on June 6.

Meets follow in Oslo, Stockholm and Paris before the athletes fly to Oregon on July 5 for the Pre Classic.

They will then compete in Monaco and London over the next two weeks before taking a break in early August.

The Diamond League returns with Silesia on August 16, then Lausanne and Brussels before the big showdown in Zurich.

With next year’s World Championships in September in Tokyo (13-21), the Weltklasse Zürich will essentially be the last chance for athletes to hone their craft before heading to Japan.

Players will be paid a total of about $18 million during next year’s Diamond League season.

The prize pool for each event will be between $30,000 and $50,000 in each heat and between $60,000 and $100,000 in the final.

Each Diamond League discipline will be featured four to seven times next season.
