Erin, Wis. – Amari’s week of Avenry in US Women Open has been nothing But common.
Friday afternoon, Reports began on the surface He Averry-A 20-year-old professional from California-was playing the second round in Erin Hills with the clubs of Comrade Pro Gabi Ruffels. Reason for changing the tour club in the middle? A expensive mix that led to her USC golf golf of USC Gavin Aurilia-Fly to Phoenix randomly with the ampry bag in traction.
“We use the same (travel bag) from USC, so it’s definitely the same thing, it looks the same thing,” Ampery said. “We really didn’t understand until 12:15 pm before my time. So it was a little for a clash. We tried to understand.”
After she noticed the mixture, the avery had to clash to find a replacement group. Fortunately for her, Ruffels, a close friend and a Taylormade employee, played in the morning wave and lost the cut, so she agreed to borrow it. With the borrowers, Avery posted one over 73 to survive the cut.
“It was lucky for me and she is definitely a very class act, my great friend, so she gave me the clubs,” Avery said. “(I am) just happy to be here.”
After her third round, Avery met with the media to share her account of the situation that began this wild sequence of events.
According to her account, she and her family woke up early Friday morning by a thief trying to enter their Airbnb. Avery’s father told everyone at home that they had to get up if they had to “run”.

“It was just scary, like a panic at first at first,” Ampery said. “It was just a scary time. We were trying to figure out what to do. We called the police. It took them 15, 20 minutes to get home, so it was just a scary waiting there.
“My boyfriend, my mother and my father saw the person out of the door, so it was a little scary. We just stayed away from the front door and we were just a kind hoping to choose herself, which was good for the boy to leave and the police came and made us feel more confident.”
Avery and her family waited until the days of the day to pack their things and then set out to find a hotel to spend the rest of the week. They took all their clothes, but left the two groups of clubs if they could not find a new place to stay.
After they had secured new shelter, the father of Avery and Aurilla headed back to Airbnb to attract the clubs. But with Aurilla flying that morning to reach a tour of it, they headed straight to the airport. And while Aurilla was downloading the car at the airport, he grabbed the wrong travel bag.
“I think it’s just as much as my father and my boyfriend’s fault not to check the bags,” she said. “They loaded him in the car. My dad took him to the airport and he caught the wrong group.”
After clashing to find replacement clubs – and some thoughts to withdraw – Avery actually played quite well. Despite some easily Different specifications between its clubs and Ruffels’, Avery managed to post a 1-top 73 and make it on the weekend.
“It was good to be able to work,” she said. “After going out on the course, I realized why I think,” Oh, I’m hitting 7-Iyon and Gabi “instead of thinking alone,” Let me go out here and play. “I feel like playing well enough.
Fortunately for Avery, Aurilla’s mother was able to board a flight back to Wisconsin with traction clubs and arrived in time for the third round. Ironically enough, Avery posted a lower score with Ruffels clubs on Friday than with his own in round 3.
“I felt like Gabi’s clubs were honestly very good,” she said. “I joked last night after calling it and said, of course,” Thank you very much for borrowing the clubs. ” “
