Cristiano Ronaldo has taken his global legacy with the great opening of the Museum of Life CR7 in Hong Kong, an immersive tribute to both his football triumphs and his personal journey behind his legend.
It was officially opened on July 7 at K11 Musea at Tsim Sha Tsui, the attraction, which is 12,000 massive square feet, attracted huge crowds when thousands of fans queued to enter the Ronaldo world.
The Museum houses more than 40 exclusive exhibitions, ranging from t -shirts and worn boots of matches to some of the most prestigious trophies in football, including its 2008 Golden Ballon, Golden Boots and its Golden Ball of the FIFA Club Cup World Cup.
But it is not just recognitions.
One of the most intimate points is a faithful recreation of Ronaldo’s initial race bedroom in Lisbon, offering fans a rare vision of their lives off the pitch during their training years, a time when their dreams began to take shape.
Even the life out of the launch of Ronaldo appears: his YouTube content study is exposed, although only VIP ticket holders come to the replication settings he uses to connect with millions of online fans.
In June of next year, the exhibition is expected to attract more than 12 million visitors, marking it as one of the largest football presentations that Asia has seen.
The Hong Kong Museum marks the third personal museum of Ronaldo dedicated to his life and career.
In November 2023, he opened the CR7 Signature Museum In Riyadh, the Saudi Arab capital, where he currently plays in Al-Nassr after his departure from Manchester United.
But the flag and permanent location are still the CR7 at the Funchal MuseumMadeira – The Portuguese island where Ronaldo was born and raised. There, fans can explore more than 100 race trophies, countless memories and multiple wax figures from the football icon.
The museum is located under the Pestana Cr7 Hotel, a Luxury Co-Proportian boutique property of Ronaldo and the Pestana Group. Everything from the decoration and experience of the dining room to one’s own rooms, pays tribute to the Portuguese star.
Outside, a large bronze statue of Ronaldo greets the visitors, cementing the place as a final destination for their fans.
