Look, I realize that the title of “most beautiful bag” is very subjective.
But when Modern classic bag from Maxfli appeared in the office for our annual test of the most wanted golf bag, my head hit the floor.
Okay, I’m being dramatic. But the moment I saw that cream and caramel beauty sitting in the testing facility, I thought to myself, “Who the hell makes that bag?”

And then I realized how much it cost. Not $500. Not $400. of The Maxfli Modern Classic Shoulder Bag is only $329.
You’d be hard-pressed to find another bag with a similar fit and finish (synthetic leather, velor lining, good hardware) for less than $400.
The Maxfli fits nicely into a hole in the market for premium golf bags without a premium price.
It’s very good. And it’s coming home with me (as soon as I can convince my wife I’m just a new bag away from being also a new bag far from satisfying my addiction to orange and tan golf bags.
