The Cool Caddy boat carries cans, not clubs

I’m not ashamed to admit that the promotional video for Cool Caddy Ship attracted me. It’s a clever catchy video. The vips of the video synced right up with my vibrations.

If you don’t believe me, take a look.

After watching that video for the fifth (or tenth) time, I knew I had to see what Cool Caddy Ship it was above all.

Today, I share my explorations with you.

It’s like a premium golf bag company made a cooler

On the surface, Cool Caddy Ship it’s just an ice chest shaped like a golf bag. However, it feels like something more. At least for me, it did.

Your emotional response to the Cool Caddy is likely based on your relationship with the Vessel brand and how obsessed you are with golf.

As for the Vessel brand, I am unapologetically a fan of Vessel bags. Player V Pro is outstandingeven not just according to me. I have been playing with Vessel Player IV for a few years and will be transitioning to an even better Player V this season.

The ship makes the best premium bags in golf. End of story.

As for buying too many golf themed accessories, I’m not that guy. I don’t have BBQ tools in the form of clubs. My license plate frame doesn’t say “I’d rather drive a headliner.”

Without a doubt, I have an isolated one sic suppliers of golf ball dimples.

New golf products aren’t really my bag. No judgement. If you like to practice placement in your bathroomgo make those putts in the pooper. I would just spend that gas on green fees.

That said, I couldn’t wait to try it Cool Caddy Ship.

Spring weather analysis

We’ve been having some spring-like weather here in Northern California this month, so I decided to put it up Cool Caddy Ship through its rhythms. I’ve tested a ton of Yeti coolers on the MyGolfSpy Forum over the years, so I have certain expectations when it comes to cooling coolers.

I have cooling data for Cool Caddy Ship but, first, I want to address the other coolness of the cooler.

Vessel Cool Caddy is cool even without ice

My initial idea was to explore Cool Caddy Ship the same way I would make a golf bag. Obviously, it’s bad at holding clubs, but some of the other features like build quality and ergonomics are viable.

In terms of build quality, the ship’s branding sets the bar very high. Ship bags carry premium prices, but they are well-deserved through amazing designs, functionality, and quality.

of Cool Caddy Ship The design is simpler than a full ship’s golf bag, but bears the hallmarks of ship’s quality.

From the materials to the stitching and branded zipper pulls, the quality of the Cool Caddy lives up to the boat’s name. This thing is well built.

From the video, you know that this will not only keep your drinks cold, but it will also support your weight when you sit on it.

Like a ship’s golf bag, Cool Caddy it has a bunch of pockets for storing your gear. For a cooler, this could include snacks, mixers, sunscreen, or something larger like a pickle shovel. If you feel it, throw in some balls and also a ball mark repair tool.

with Cool Caddy Shipyou can be the coolest sports parent.

Imagine how great the Vessel Cool Caddy would be at your next youth soccer game or family picnic. You’ll be the envy of all the other parents and get more attention than the kids on the field.

If you tend to be more cynical, this could serve as your silent protest that you’d rather be playing golf.

Does the Cool Caddy ship cool?

Cooling mechanism for Cool Caddy Ship it is very interesting. Of course, the bag part is just modified Ship cabin design. To make it into a cooler, Vessel designed a new internal cylinder system.

The coolant system is a hard plastic cylinder with a thick plastic inner bag. An additional inner cap seals the cylinder, located flush with the bottom of the zipper cap.

The volume of the inner cylinder is extremely important. The vessel says it will hold up to 24 12-ounce cans. I’m not sure if this number is with or without ice, but there is enough space inside Cool Caddy.

Watch as a one-gallon bag of ice almost disappears into the bottom of the freezer sleeve. It will hold a bottle or two of wine no problem.

To test the cooling qualities of Cool Caddy. I filled the gallon bag with ice and left the cooler outside for the afternoon. For reference, it was about 65F outside and the cooler was in the shade for the duration of the test.

After five hours or so, the ice had melted a little. Not so much that there was excess water in the bag. The ice had melted slightly and refrozen around the cubes, turning the individual cubes into a large grid of frozen cubes.

Of course, the cooler will face more of a challenge when the weather warms up, but I think when it’s filled with ice this summer, it’ll keep the adults’ sodas very cold while hanging out by someone’s pool.

Things that aren’t cool

I have two main concerns/cares with Cool Caddy Ship.

First, coolant can leak from the top if you lay it on its side. The inner cap forms a tight seal on the cooling tube, but I don’t think it’s watertight. If your ice is melted and you pack it sideways in your luggage, you may run out of water.

I suggest pouring off the excess water before shipping or, better yet, don’t leave while there are still cans in the cooler.

The weak link of longevity in the system may be the bag. If the internal compartment was rotomolded plastic with an airtight lid, Cool Caddy they would roam in cooler pastures yeti.

(Maybe Ship will do that kind of insertion as an extra option.)

As it stands, you need to protect the integrity of that bag. The bag is very thick, but packs the cooler with knives, ice buckets, corks or lawn darts can be problematic. Punctures will leak, so be gentle with yours Cool Caddy bag.

If you protect that bag when packing and using the cooler, I see no reason why Cool Caddy summer won’t last long.

If you have to puncture the bag, a raft or piece of rubber might be enough to re-seal the deal.

The Vessel Cool Caddy is a new way to keep things cool

Do I love it? Cool Caddy Ship as much as mine V player carrying bag? Of course not. That golf bag is an elite bag that brings all kinds of functionality to my rounds of golf.

The Vessel Cool Caddy is just a recreational beverage transport system, but it’s a fun system. In fact, I have to go more places than my golf bag.

So far, I’ve brought the Cool Caddy to a picnic at a winery and a BBQ at a friend’s house. I’ve also used the shoulder strap to drape it over my back while riding my e-bike to the park.

In all situations, the Vessel Cool Caddy has proven to be a valuable addition to my beverage transport arsenal, and it’s not spring/summer yet!

At $199, it costs about the same as the average soft-sided Yeti cooler. Keep an eye out for sales, though, as it was only $150 last Christmas.

The Yeti cooler could be sealed tighter but Cool Caddy Ship it will work just as well for day trips and other short outings. Just keep it straight in the car.

On the plus side, the Cool Caddy has more dry goods storage space than a Yeti Hopper 12 and you can sit on it without crushing it.

The golfing condition of the Vessel Cool Caddy is immeasurable.

If you’re like me, you probably aren’t need another cooler. However, if you have the compulsion to get a cold ship, I wholeheartedly support that decision. It’s a great mix of fun and functionality.
