People on X are in the arms over the Turki Alalshikh who chooses Edgar Berlanga against Hamzah Sheeraz as the main list for his July 12 on July 12 in New York. Fans consider this fight as unworthy of such a card loaded with fighters with much more talent than one of these guys.
Interestingly, Mike Coppinger did not reveal in the announcement of this loaded card that will be the main event. However, it has now been learned that Berlanga-Heeraz is the main list for the map.

Fans feel that Turki Hamzah (21-0-1, 17 COs) is giving the prestigious position because he loves him. This is probably a more strategic step as the inclusion of Sheeraz in the main line position increases the interest of the British fans when purchasing the opportunity on Dazn ppv. If Sheeraz was buried on the bottom map that Berlanga was fighting, there would not be as much interest from British fans.
Market forces
New Yorker Berlanga (23-1, 18 COs) in the main event is also a smart move by Turki, as he will bring in his Brooklyn fans to watch it or order it on PPV. Edgar obviously has limited talent and in September seemed an embarrassment in his loss of Canelo Alvarez in September, but he is popular in New York.
Berlanga also has the villain thing well, and he doesn’t even try. With the way he boasts about himself, he seems detached from reality and cannot understand how mediocre he is. When Edgar talks about himself in grandeur, he sounds like a person suffering from megalomania and does not have his feet firmly on the ground. After Berlanga has suffered some losses, he will come to earth.
