RunBlogRun presents

The Brooks Run Guide Interviews

with Walid Suliman,

Member of Brooks Beasts Track Club,

Episode 8:

Walid Suliman is a middle distance runner who competes for the Brooks Beasts Track Club and is coached by Danny Mackey and the team at Brooks Beasts TC.

Waleed was a fun interview. We talked about his high school track and transition from football to track and field. Waleed has some serious PBs and ran most of them in 2025.

800m PB of 1:47:00 since 2021 (he will break that in 2026). Waleed has a PB of 3:52.4 for the road mile (Fifth Avenue Mile, September 2025), and a PB of 3:33.82 from 2024). Waleed ran a 3:51.89 mile in August 2024. Waleed’s 3000m PB of 7:39.89 came on February 8, 2025 at the famous Boston University track.

How many middle distance runners celebrate the end of the season by running a trail 50k? Well, Walid did. Enjoy the interview!
