Sergio Mora is, along with WBA -Tuss -interest heavyweight champion Fabio Wardley, in his interim fight against WBO Tussented champion Joseph Parker in their fight next month on October 25, 2025 in the O2 arena in London.
Wardley’s home advantage
Dazn commentator Mora says Wardley (19-0-1, 18 COs) can stop even Parker (36-3, 25 COs) in their 12-round battle. Mora points out that Parker was knocked out by Joe Joyce just three years ago. He believes that Wardley is now a better fighter than “The Juggernaut” was Joyce when he defeated Parker.
Parker against Wardley meets on Dazn PPV on October 25. This is a fight that will give British fighter Fabio a homeland. Whether it helps him or not should still be seen, but it must be considered a positive.

The Joyce Blueprint
Wardley could have an advantage if he attacked Parker relentlessly, as Joe Joyce did in his 11th round victory over him on September 24, 2022. Two of Parker’s career defeats came against pressure fighters, Joyce and Dillian Whyte.
The overall assault plan
Wardley has a chance to conquer Parker if he chases himself uninterrupted, cuts off the ring and fired everything with power. Parker will withdraw, and lose his own shots zipper if he is forced to move. As we saw in his loss of Joyce, he fades when he handles three minutes of each round with forced aggression. Parker, 33, is a big guy, and he can wither as Wardley attacked relentlessly in overall assaults.
“You’re crazy,” Dazn commentator Chris Mannix said in response to Mora’s prediction of a Fabio victory.
“Joe Joyce stops Parker,” says Mora.
“How many years ago was that? How many battles ago? ‘ said Mannix.
“It doesn’t matter,” says Mora. “And I think Wardley is a better fighter than Joe Joyce.”
“I think Fabio Wardley is good. He is a good fighter. He is thirty years old. He won that good victory over Frazer Clarke. It was a career definition action. But look at his last fight, Sergio. He knocked through Justis Huni before knocking out Justis Huni, ‘says Mannix.
Huni looked impressive, expressed Wardley and built a wide lead in the tenth round of their battle on June 7, 2025. In the tithe, a bad beat, throwing a desperate right hand from Homerun and dropped Huni. The referee then counted him out.
At the time of the downtime, Huni was in front of the scores 88-83, 89-82 and 899-82 on all three judges’ counts. There is no shame in Wardley struggling with Australian Huni, because he was a fighter who showed the Olympic potential in 2021. He would have fought in the Olympics in that year, if not for a hand injury.
Parker’s post-lee return
“So, you sit down and say that Joseph Parker is not a better boxer than Justis Huni? That Joe Parker has no more power than Justis Huni? ‘ said Mannix. “Joseph Parker has been another fighter since Andy Lee was in his corner. Joseph Parker was a completely different man in his recent battles. ‘
For the record, Parker Andy Lee employed as his coach in March 2021 after his split with coach Kevin Parker. The move to Parker to work with Lee comes after his grueling 12-round victory over Junior FA on February 21, 2021. It was a difficult battle for Parker as he took a lot of punishment from FA.
Since adding Lee as his coach, Parker has won eight of his last nine fights since March 2021. His lonely defeat came against Olympic silver medalist Joe Joyce in an 11th round in 2016. It was a case of Joyce who walked through everything that Parker threw to download enough of his slow bombs to hone him to achieve a knockout in round 11.
Parker’s opponent’s history
Since the loss, Parker has led 6-0 and defeated the significant fighters Martin Bakole, Zhilei Zhang and Deontay Wilder. These are good fighters, but Parker has not caught them at their best. Wilder was 38 and Zhang 40 when they fought Parker. They were far from their best shape.
Bakole was brought in as a late replacement for Parker after his originally scheduled opponent, Daniel Dubois, fell out of their fight on February 22, 2025 due to illness. What could have contributed to Parker’s second round victory over Bakole is that Martin was out of shape and weighed 310 pounds.
