Here’s what you lost on Friday in masters.

Augusta, GA – greetings, friends and welcome to today’s edition of Rogers Report! I write to you all from the press building in Augusta National, where I have had two latte icy vanilla milk and the best French chips of my life today. I got a Long walk around the masters Yesterday and decided to take a more casual approach today. I posted from the 17th green box and 18 tee for a few hours, so I could see groups come there, and then spent some time looking at the club. The best places in the world for people who look (in no particular way) are in Metro in New York City and from the first Tee to masters, and I had the time of my life meeting new people and observing all the stylish dresses here today. While summarizing the highlights of my day for my sister through text message, I realized that many of the things I saw (both on the course and online) can be divided into distinct categories. So without ado, I present you all the best things you have lost in the masters today.
The best dresses
Let’s start with the most important category: player dresses. I will be very honest here: I haven’t been blown up by many of the sights so far this week. Happened what happened to Pastel pants in Augusta? Happened what happened with dozens of masters inspired shirts? By non-medium standards, the dresses have been completely good. But I want MORE By the brands that these people wear.
You know who looked their masters perfectly? Ralph Lauren. Billy Horschel’s images have been the best of a mile. Pink flower shirt and yellow pants roar Augusta National.
Other brands should take notes!
Ludwig Aberg was the second best dressed here in the masters today. He is shaking Adidas’s “original” line this week, and everything looks great. See how easy it is to include masters colors in a player’s everyday images? We need more from this in 2026!

Ludwig aberg
While Jason Day Malbon’s dress did not turn his head into the way some of his other footage make, I am a big fan of this clean look. However, I am a little confused because earlier this year, he stated that he had to clean his script from Augusta National, so I expected his footage to be the city’s conversation and that is pretty primary to the course. I have to selfishly admit that the reason I’m very happy to be playing well this week is because I want to see what he and Malbon Golf have in the store for this weekend. I will rush to social media throughout the weekend to see what dresses he has.

And for the best end of the day, we have Jordan Spieth. Specifically, Jordan Spieth’s T -shirt.

This is evidence that a small detail can go far away. An outfit does not need to go on board to pay homage to masters.
The best quotes of the player
Bryson dechambeau
My associate and Paul James Colgan wrote everything about The wild number of shaky thoughts Bryson Dechambeau says he has a week, but this was not the only gem at his press conference on Friday afternoon in masters.
Here’s what the US Open champion had to say about his YouTube channel and how his pleasure for this was transported to Golf Tournament:
“YouTube golf has made me feel like a kid again. When I started, I was like a man, that would be a lot of work. And as soon as we started making challenges that were fun and interesting and different, it made me feel like I was like that, you know, 11-, 12-year-olds out with your friends and just trying to play as good as you can and do something crazy and different.
“Really makes you think, too, when you get a different set of golf clubs in your hand, as a kid you get another club if your hand, well, maybe not perfect, but you have to understand a way to do it.
“When I’m doing the series of course records, my brain is concentrating to the maximum extent. So it’s not how it costs me a lot of energy and I’m not earning much from it. I am actually focusing and saying, hey, you are on the camera, you have to execute. There is nothing else you can do except to play your absolute good. So he takes me in a truly delightful mentality. It’s been a great benefit.“
Times is like this when you can show My Guiea It’s being as diligent as it can be. He turns on when discussing the things he is passionate about, and I think he hit the nail on his head when describing the youthful excitement brought by Golf YouTube. There is a reason so, so many teens are fixed with Deci. He bowed to his Quirkiness during his conversation with the media on Friday, and I left his press conference an even bigger fan.
Matt McCarty
Next we have Matt McCarty, who is making his masters debut and the second beginning of the great champion this week. He is going on the weekend three shots from the superiority, and I like what he had to say to get nervous there.
“I think you’ve got some sort of riframe.
So friends, if you see me looking for super Excited on a plane during the riots, I just know that I have refined my nerves for excitement.
Nick dunlap
I want to take a moment here to say how much respect I have for Nick Dunlap this week. He shot the 90th on Thursday at Augusta National, and it would have been easy to pull or throw in the towel. It takes a lot of strength to appear after a day as Dunlap had on Thursday, and even more to improve his 19 stroke outcome. Yes people, you read it properly.
Here’s what the 21-year-old hat for his second round in Augusta says:
“I think a lot of people would have been supported, maybe not. Of course I’ve ever wanted to do. I know that. There are many things I could have made that they would make me much happier to go out and feel like I was not playing well and coming to play golf in a gang of people. But yes, I will never leave.
While most Dunlap people are finishing their new year of college, he is here giving an example to children and adults everywhere. I am predicting a lot of success in his future.
Bernhard Langer
Bernhard Langer headed to the press room after losing cutting at his last start of the masters on Friday.
Langer started things by looking at his childhood again and explaining how far the career of his masters once seemed.
Q. Could you ever imagine as a young man, winning some coins like a caddy in Germany, that you would continue to play in 41 masters?
“No. Gamma for eight hours a day.
I always get emotions when the pros have their last day of competition with the masters. It makes me think of him, and as a day we will see today’s new stars take the last lap about Augusta National. The way Langer summed up only how dreams of his career was sent to me. He is right. It really was a fairy tale.
Best social posts
Say what you want for social media, I’ve heard them all. It is toxic! It is rotting our brain! You know what else are you doing? Providing the best content in the world during large championships. We will begin with the most viral moment of the day, when Scottie Scheffler found himself hanging in the bush at No. 18.
Thanks, Scottie Scheffler, for the contents of the meme. And thanks, art but sport, for how your brain works.
Further we have this tweet from Sean Martin, who emphasized the longevity we see in Golf. This and how brilliant has been the brilliant hair of Fred’s couples.
This photo was taken 32 years ago.
Both of these men came to the 18th hole today with a chance to make the cut. Golf is the biggest. pic.twitter.com/vvuqvrjh2k

And now for healthy sharing. We will start things with this Bernhard Langer clip finishing his latest round in masters, an ovation on foot and hugs that followed.
My favorite part of this video is when Langer greets his new granddaughter, and you can say that for a short moment, his mixed emotions turn into pure happiness. Langer may not attract it this weekend, but the good news is that he has 40 years of memories of masters to see again. Oh, and a Mercedez-Benz with new masters.
Next we have Billy Horschel, TGL’s eldest man, being a hype man for Nick Dunlap when he probably needed most.
Billy Horschel was in Nick Dunlap’s ear since they left 18 to score.
I asked Bill what he said.
“I said,” I have a lot of respect for the way you handled it and you gained a lot of respect from players and millions of views. “I Pic.twitter.com/olqhuc5qss
– Paul’s breeding (@Paulhodanic) April 12 2025
There is nothing I want in golf more than players who have each other’s back, and that’s exactly what Horschel did today.
Various notifications
The way the leader of the masters with 36 holes recovers from his course on the course is nothing less than aspiration. Justin Rose travels in most events with a fancy recovery vehicle containing a steam, sauna, cold diving, oxygen machine and a whole more.
Here is my petition for a golf media recovery vehicle.
And finally, I present all the full experience of getting lunch in masters. Enjoy!
