Augusta, GA – greetings, friends and welcome to today’s edition of Rogers Report, where we are emotionally exhausted after two weeks in Augusta and seeing the last round of Masters. I arrived in the course in the middle of the morning, and the Golf team had our annual lunch at the club club Augusta National.
My lunch at lunch this week was grilled cheese Caprese pesto in Sourdough (yum!), So I got it with a fried side and a azalea (my first week, promise). From there I saw Bryson dechambeau and Rory Mcilroy Heat it in the range and then headed towards the Lis tree after the club to see them move towards the first tee.
The stroll that every player in the quarrel makes from the club at the first Tee is a fun because clients outside the club create an open track for the good to walk while members, media and guests of the surrounding crowds and applaud. Staff serving food at the club’s home even pause to see leaders walk out, and has become one of my favorite gentlemen’s traditions to testify.
After the leaders left, I headed back to the press building to work and see the broadcast. There is nothing like seeing a dramatic round of golf in a room full of golf writers. Some people had realized that world food was a few seconds before transmission, so you would hear some premature reactions that meant the result of the blow you would see. And the room became calmer as the last group descended the alignment. Everyone was called inside.
I think the best part of the big championship Sundays (except golf, of course) is the reaction on social media. Whether they are memes, healthy moments or unique observations, Twitter users brought their games or in the last round today. Let’s take a look, right?
Videos in the course
The best thing (or one of the best things) about social media is that it becomes a space to maintain our favorite golf moments, and today it was no exception. Call to the masters for posting any single blow from Rory Mcilroy round in a 16 -minute, 20 second video.
The other we have Mcilroy’s message to his Poppy daughterthat can be the sweetest thing of all time.
And while the following content is not of the Masters 2025 sample, it is Caitlin Clark in Masters, so it is being included in the best video content of the day.
Caitlin lists the masters as the best sporting event in the country for his peace and uniqueness in not allowing phones.
“I just feel like a normal fan. Even talking to him, I saw seduce Allen and Luke Combs and some others last night. That’s what we all want for that.” Pic.twitter.com/1oyyy7tpcca

To round this segment, we have shot Shane Lowry by greeting Pal Rory Mcilroy in the biggest hug ever. Everyone needs a friend like Lowry.
Interesting tidbit you never join
I’ve looked at the masters as long as I can remember and this was my third year participating in the golf tour. However, I never noticed once that players in the field hit patrons at no. 6.
One of my favorite announcements in the country about masters is how players literally hit on a client wall at no. 6. Rarely see this on TV pic.twitter.com/edpmp5fuht

I will never see no. 6 again, and I will think about this fun fact every time I walk there on the course. Thanks to Will Knights who emphasized it.
Tweet -et relays
If you’ve seen golf today, congratulations! You may be entitled to financial compensation because of the stress you put on your body. The Internet did not disappoint with their direct actions, and I have included a small part of the Tweet -e for your entertainment.
Listen if you are not ready to run with Rory Bogeying the first you are not built for this trip

“Just just a golf tour you need to relax”
God keeps us my will to live trips to the ability of 5’9 northern Irishmen to place a small white ball in a hole

I’m will puke

I know Rory and I am built differently because he is making a snack now and if I were he would be bent for a trash somewhere

Twitter Golf may be crazy, but it also never lacks.
Hollywood Watch Feast
About 4,000 miles from Augusta National, members of the Holywood Golf Club gathered to see one of their masters.
It was a troubled emotional day in the course that Mcilroy grew up playing, but the celebrations that followed after Mcilroy’s victory was well worth the stress of the day.
I have to imagine the holiday in Holywood is still going on as we talk, and I’m so Excited to Mcilroy’s parents, who looked at home to northern Ireland.
The latest video that causes chills from Nike
No one is better at making videos to raise their players than Nike. And Sunday in masters was no exception. Let’s take a look at what they posted immediately after Mcilroy’s victory.
From Pimento’s cheese sandwich to the gauge bar, the video is somewhat super -said and extremely specific at the same time. I also can’t help but wonder how long Nike has been sitting in that video for it. Be that as it may, I am glad the world I saw it Sunday evening.
Moments of the press conference
Rory received a round of media applause when he entered the interview room as a Master Champion for the first time. And before one of us could ask a question, Mcilroy got the freedom of question in a question. After years asked about the masters, Mcilroy got the last laughter. And he treated it perfectly.
Mcilroy’s oppressor was gold from start to finish, but the sweetest moment of all came when Eamon Lynch asked about Caddy and Mcilroy’s long Paul, Harry Diamond.
Normalize emotional intake than mean your loved ones to you!
Congratulations
There is nothing like opening up social media and seeing celebrities gather to congratulate the players we know and love. I have to say I was not removing Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller and Matthew McConaughey to exit Woodworks today. Who knew they were such fans of the masters?
A handful of players withdrew to congratulate their colleague, including Justin Rosewho spoke to the media shortly after losing it to the play off. Talk about a class act!
I gave everything….
wish @Mcilroyory In the acquisition of @Themasters and ending the slam Grand .. very delightful sharing green with you at that moment…
Thanks team

Congratulations to Rory on his victory and for the end of the Grand Slam career. Amazing– Phil Mickelson (@philmickelson) 13 April 2025
Welcome to the club @Mcilroyory. The conclusion of Grand Slam in Augusta is something special. Your designation during this round, and all this trip has shown, and now you are a part of history. Proud of you!
– Tiger Woods (@tigerwoods) April 14 2025
You can simply see Augusta’s demons leaving Rory when it entered that stroke. What an incredible coaster of emotions – pure sports to the maximum. But the story is made and Rory has joined the most golf elite finishing Grand Slam. The green jacket is finally its.…
– Luke Donald (@lukedonald) 13 April 2025
Rory enters the most elite golf club finishing Grand Slam. He is one of the biggest I have ever seen playing this game. It was not difficult to see that he was special. Proud to have been with him several times and watched him grow. Deserves to be called one of the greatest of all time.

History !! Well done Rory! Bravo!
– Billy Horschel (@billyho_golf) 13 April 2025
I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Rory Mcilroy for his historic victory in Masters and the end of Grand Slam career. Today’s drama caught with his victory on the play off was merely meant to be. I would be regretted if I didn’t mention my admiration for Justin… pic.twitter.com/ciktmsjr6
– Gary Player (@Garaplayer) April 14 2025
I can’t even start to imagine how many text messages there are mcilroy now. Among other players, family, friends, agents, cades and others, he is likely to have a LOT of people to return.
Group conversations
And finally, I will leave you all with that. Just if you thought you and your friends were the only ones crazy in their group conversation during the last round, I invited people to share pictures of their text messages from today. You need to click on each of the following posts to see the answers, but I promise you will not regret it.
Answer this tweet with a picture of your conversation in your golf group by being unheard of on the Masters Sunday. I want to take a look at
