For the film industry, the start of the year means one thing: awards season (No, “Sinners” doesn’t deserve a Best Picture nomination). I’ve had a chance to hit and play the Hot Launch C523 Fairway Woods, and let me tell you, these things are so easy to launch and absolutely fly. Fairway woods are a club that, while important to your bag, aren’t something you need to upgrade every year or play the latest model. Right now, a new Hot Launch C523 is $85. At that price. you are hard pressed to find such good used wood. I’d happily stack this up against any other freeway out there.

Old reliable. I don’t know what else to say about Buckingham. For $130, this meter delivers value and performance that won’t be outdone. We’ve entered a world where new machines are generally over $400. You mean to tell me another shooter is almost 4x better than our 2025 hammer? Yeah, I didn’t think so.

Tour Edge E525 VIBRCOR Wedge
Once again, the Tour Edge is coming in hot. While I don’t have any first-hand experience playing these wedges, I can’t imagine a more forgiving set of wedges for an average handicapper (for your game and your wallet). In my experience playing with Tour Edge clubs, they are quality, easy to launch and very forgiving. Wedges are expensive and even “on sale” wedges average about $130 per club, so $79.99 is a great value. They also have a “wedge pack” of 3 wedges on Amazon ABOUT $119.99 if you wanted to go even lower.
Vice Boost Starter Set
If you’re looking for a quality starter set, look no further. of Vice Boost Starter Set it’s worlds better than box brands you can find in a store. I got these for my wife to upgrade from a boxed Top Flite kit and I’m blown away by how much better this is for only $250 more. For less than $550, this is a great set for the price and takes a lot of the stress out of getting one into golf. It’s really hard to imagine a better boxed set for a better price.
Driver TaylorMade SIM2 Max
This driver is a goat for a reason. $350 for a brand new, still high performance driver is REALLY hard to beat. It’s not a groundbreaking deal and it’s not the OG SIM2, but SIM2 Max still remains one of the best deals in golf.
