Major League Baseball’s offseason heats up as the free agent class meets with interested teams.
Outfielder Juan Soto of the New York Yankees leads the way, but there is also a large crop of starting pitchers.
Some of those big names include Blake Snell, Corbin Burns, Max Fried and Rocky Sasaki.
A name that isn’t talked about as much as the other starters is world champion Jack Flaherty.
MLB analyst Ryan Spielbergs recently named two teams that could be a good fit for Flaherty if they can’t sign one of the other big names.
“I think some organizations like Detroit, maybe a team like Houston, are trying to find some teams that are a little more short-term than long-term,” Spielberg said on SiriusXM’s MLB Network Radio. through
Don’t forget about Jack Flaherty in the free agent pitching market.

Flaherty entered the league in 2017 and has played for four teams during his eight-year MLB career.
After being traded from the Detroit Tigers to the Los Angeles Dodgers, Flaherty started 10 games and posted a 6-2 record with a 3.58 ERA and 61 strikeouts in 55.1 innings.
He also hit one postseason game to help the Dodgers win the championship.
Spilborghs names the Detroit Tigers and Houston Astros as possible landing spots for Flaherty and suggests a shorter contract would be a better fit for him.
While Spielborgs believes teams will prefer to go after other big-name pitchers, he thinks Flaherty would be a good option for someone.
