The Major League Baseball season ended with the New York Yankees losing to the Los Angeles Dodgers in the World Series.
After losing their chance to win another title, the Yankees face another battle as they try to resign their star player, Juan Soto.
Along with the Yankees, Soto is also drawing interest from the New York Mets.
MLB analyst Deisha Tosar was asked who feels the most pressure to sign Soto.
“I think Hull feels the pressure, and I think the Yankees need it more,” Tosar said.

Tosar explains that Cohen, the Mets’ owner, has developed his ability to sign big players several times, with the signings of Justin Verlander, Max Scherzer and Francisco Lindor.
He also notes that Steinbrenner, the Yankees’ owner, hasn’t been as public about the free agent signing since Aaron Judge was a free agent.
Soto is also drawing interest from teams outside of New York, including the Los Angeles Dodgers, Boston Red Sox and Toronto Blue Jays, so the competition is heating up.
The Yankees went to the World Series in Soto’s first year with a team that could play in their favor when he made his final decision.
If Soto is simply looking for the highest number, it would appear that Cohen has the advantage.
It will be interesting to see how the Soto lottery plays out in the end.
