The 2026 World Indoor Athletics Tour will return in 2026.


The World Athletics Indoor Tour will return in 2026, featuring a packed calendar of almost 80 events at all levels.

With less than three months to go until the first Gold level action of the season, matches across 24 countries in Asia, Europe and North America have been announced and point standings confirmed.

The tour has increased from seven matches in 2020 to 77 matches for the 2025-26 season. The World Indoor Tour begins on December 13 in Bucharest, Romania (Challenger) and ends on March 12 in Uppsala, Sweden (Silver).

The series includes eight gold-level matches, starting in Boston, USA on January 24. The series culminates in Torun, Poland on February 22, as the athletes prepare for the Kujawy Pomorze 26 World Indoor Athletics Championships, which will take place at the same venue, Kujawsko-Pomorska Arena Torun, on March 20-22.

February 3: Czech Indoor Gala – Ostrava, Czech Republic
February 6: World Indoor Tour Gold Madrid 2026 – Madrid, Spain
February 8: INIT indoor meet Karlsruhe – Karlsruhe, Germany
February 11: Belgrade Indoor Match – Belgrade, Serbia
February 19: Match Hauts-de-France Pas-de-Calais Trophee EDF – Lievin, France
February 22: ORLEANS Copernicus Cup – ToruÅ„, Poland

2025-26 World Indoor Tour Calendar

Collecting goals

The scoring system for the World Indoor Athletics Tour changes every year. Gold level points for 2026 will be:

Women: 400m, 1500m, 60m hurdles, high jump, long jump
Men: 60m, 800m, 3000m/5000m, Pole Vault, Triple Jump, Shooting

The calculation of points is as follows.
First place = 10 points
Second place = 7 points
Third place = 5 points
Fourth place = 3 points

Each athlete’s top three results will count toward their total points. At the end of the tour, the athlete with the most points in each scoring category will be declared the winner and awarded a bonus of USD 10,000. They will also be offered a wild card entry for the Kujawy Pomorze 26 World Indoor Athletics Championships.

Each Gold meeting will offer a minimum of $7,000 in prize money for each individual subject in the program.
