Terence Crawford’s undeserved title shot: A call for a three-match before the opposite of Canelo

Terence Crawford says he doesn’t try to beat Canelo Alvarez if he challenges him for his three or four super -middleweight titles in September. His goal is to just ‘beat him’. However, he says he haunted his entire career with bigger guys, and he feels he has the power to strike Canelo (62-2-2-2, 39 COs) if he catches him with a quick shot he doesn’t see.

Crawford (41-0, 31 food) did not injure his last opponent, former WBA junior middleweight champion Israil Madrimov, on August 3, and was fortunate to win the decision. Madrimov stretched out the whole battle and made him look at his age, a 38-year-old man who wants to keep his bank account before the pension.

A defective vision

Terence says that if he beats Canelo in September it will make him #3 all times pound-by-pound. His statement indicates that he doesn’t know much about the history of the sport, because even if he beat the faded, cherry-cheek-Mexican star Alvarez, it wouldn’t put him in the top 20 pound-by-pound of all time.

Crawford’s resume is completely weak that he couldn’t even make the top 20 list, because the only notable man he has hit so far is a rinsed Errol Spence, who has fought in slow movement since his terrible car accident in 2019.

You take the victory from Crawford’s resume; You are sitting with Madrimov and over-the-hill Kell Brook and Shawn Porter. Both guys were at the end of their careers when Crawford fought against them.

“I don’t have to stop him. I just had to hit him. I’m not going to try to strike canelo out there. Can this happen? Yes, absolutely, ‘Terence Crawford tells Manouk Akopyan’s Youtube Channel about his fight against the Unified Super Middleweight Champion Canelo Alvarez on September 13.

We already know how Crawford plans to fight Canelo because his coach, Brian ‘Bomac’ McIntyre, has already given away the game plan. He said they were the Floyd Mayweather jr. Blueprint goes to copy by hitting, throwing single shots, moving and holding. This is going to be a very boring battle, and the box fans who order it on PPV will be crazy because he is deceived. What do they expect?

If you watch Crawford’s last fight against Israil Madrimov on August 3, it shows exactly how he will beat Canelo. He will turn the fight into a chess match because his power is not there. He showed no power, from 147 to 154 against Madrimov. He looked like your typical older fighter, played his rope before he went to retirement.

“I’m coming from a smaller weight class that is faster. So, if he gets caught up with a punch he doesn’t see, he is definitely able to get hurt. I try to fight my struggle. If the knockout is there, I’m going to take it of course.

“I think Canelo has held back in his last few fights. I don’t think he was so excited, “Crawford said when asked if Canelo was still in his prime at this stage of his career. I think against me, it will be the best Canelo we have ever seen. I haunted my entire career big guys.

“Many people are angry that I had the opportunity. They don’t want to see me get the opportunity for their own personal reasons, ‘Crawford said of the fight against Alvarez. “If I beat Canelo Alvarez, I’ll be the top-3-pound-by-pound fighters ever.

A disregard of rank

Interestingly, Crawford is still unable to understand why fans and the media are upset that he gets a title against the Unified Super Middleweight Champion Canelo. How can Crawford be so blunt? Is it intentional?

Boxing is supposed to be a sport, and if you have a fighter who finds two weight classes to challenge a world champion without fighting their way to the competition by beating the top contenders, it makes a mockery of the sport.

Ask it too much for Crawford to be forced to earn his mega-pay day against Canelo by a Three-match mini tournament By going against these three killers?

  1. David benavidez
  2. David Morrell
  3. Osleys Iglesias

If Crawford beat the three killers, fans would have no qualifications about him who challenged Canelo for his three titles. But with the way it is now set up, Terence goes two divisions to a year of the ring, without experience and a ripe 38-year-old. In no way deserves Crawford to jump the line before Benavidez, Morrell and Iglesias for the title shot.

I left out the super -mid -weight contenders Diego Pacheco, Edgar Berlanga, Caleb Plant and Christian Mbilli, Jaime Munguia, for not judging them. Iglesias, Morrell and Banavidez are the levels above the pitiful bunch.
