Terence Crawford selects the WBC Junior Middle Wight champion Sebastian Fundora to defeat Tim Tszyu in their re -broadcast in 46 days on July 19 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Crawford sounded dead that Fundora (22-1-1, 14 COs) would overcome against former WBO champion Tszyu (25-2, 18 COs).
Fundora’s dominant style
Sebastian, 6’6 ″, was a nightmare for Tszyu last March 30. He hit Tszyu with shots he couldn’t block because of the lus angle and the mere volume thrown.
The capital letters with which Fundora made contact gave Tim a lot of problems because he ate them all night, and he couldn’t find a way to block the shots.
Many boxing fans agree with Crawford in his choice. They feel that Tszyu’s third round knock -out loss to IBF 154 pounds champion Bakhram Murtazaliev On October 19 last year, something removed from him. It wasn’t just a cut that Tim sustained in that defeat.
Tszyu was injured in that loss and dropped four times before his corner graciously threw in the towel. Murtazaliev struck Tim three times in round two and once in third place before the fight was stopped.
