Japan’s boxing scene is arriving the heat on Wednesday 30 JulyLike target -promotions, a triple world title card at Yokohama Buntai sets up. Three belts on the line, and not a snoozer in sight.
Kenshiro Teraji, Antonio Vargas, and Erick Rosa Put everyone their titles against hungry challengers – and with styles like this, don’t cut.
Teraji returns for another war – can sandoval spoil the homecoming?
Kenshiro Teraji (25-1, 16 COs) is back to that wild comeback victory over Seigo Yuri Kui in March. He has power, gravel and world title experience – but don’t sleep Ricardo Sandoval (26-2, 18 costs).
The Californians have quick hands and no respect. He didn’t flew to Japan for a photo – he was coming to crack Teraji in the mouth. Both guys like a tear, so forgetting footwork and game plans. Expect heavy shots, no defense, and someone who goes off with four rounds.

Vargas and Higa throw both bombs – someone hits the deck
The Bantam weight fight between Antonio’s misery (19-1-1, 11 COs) and Daigo Higa (21-3-2, 19 costs) Maybe steal the night. Vargas has speed and sharp box, but he has been dropped before. HIGA? He steps forward and wants to break early.
Vargas want to keep it clean. Higa wants chaos. Styles bots, fists fly and supporters win anyway. If it goes the full 12, it will be a shock.
Rosa and Takami put their 0’s on the line
In the light flyweight title fight, Dominican Slickster Erick Rosa (8-0, 2 food) meet unbeaten Japanese puncher Kyosuke Takami (9-0, 7 food). Rosa’s have a deep amateur background and already hold world titles in two divisions. Takami’s young, strong and confident – he even mentioned a round 6 ko at the press.
Rosa pulls it off, but the tension is real. This one’s classic: Speed vs Power, Pressure vs Poise. Can turn into a proper waste.
