After a week off, the PGA Tour is back in action for the 2024 Tech World Championship, and our favorite long shot this week just won the latest tournament. Here’s our long pick, Tech World Cup odds, betting favorites and everything else you need to know.
Tech World Championship Odds: Long-shot Betting
For this week’s FedEx fall event in Mexico, we’re picking Colombia pro Nico Echavarria as our long shot, and he enters the week with +5500 odds to win.
There’s a simple reason why Nico looks good to us: him won the most recent PGA Tour event two weeks ago. That event was the Zozo Championship, and Echavarria fought off a host of Tour stars to earn his second career PGA Tour victory.
While this week’s field is bigger, it doesn’t have nearly as many good players, which gives Echavarria a great opportunity to capture his second straight win.
If you bet $10 on Echavarria to win and he does, you’ll walk away with $550. Consider placing additional small bets on Echavarria to finish top 10 and top 20 for insurance.
Looking for more long bets on the World Championship of Technology? This week’s honorable mentions are Jacob Bridgeman (+5000) and Bud Cauley (+6600).
Tech World Cup Odds: Favorites
With most of the stars sitting this week, some lesser-known pros are taking their place at the top of the betting list. The pre-tournament betting favorite is Max Greysermanwith +1400 chances to win.
In second place is one of the most popular players on the field, Cameron Young (+2000). He is followed third by Doug Pin at +2200.
