TC begins coverage of the Billie Jean King Cup Finals live from Malaga, Spain, on Wednesday, November 13, with a battle between Spain and Poland at noon ET.

Team USA is coached by Hall of Famer and Tennis Channel analyst Lindsay Davenport, who was part of the 1996, 1999 and 2000 Cup winning teams and had a combined 33-3 record as a player, including a double 7 -0. record. The team will play Slovakia on Tuesday, November 14th at 12pm ET, with the winner advancing to face Australia on November 17th. During the event’s history, the United States has won the cup a record 18 times.

The Billie Jean King Cup Final features a single-elimination tournament with countries competing to advance to the group stage. Each head-to-head battle consists of two singles matches followed by a doubles contest, with one point each. The country that wins two matches will advance to the next round.

Four of the 12 nations have an automatic bye into the second round quarter-finals. The champion will be crowned on November 20th at 12pm ET. A complete schedule can be found on the Billie Jean King Cup website: https://www.billiejeankingcup.com/en/tickets.

Hall of Famers Tracy Austin AND Pam Shriver will air during Tennis Channel’s coverage of the Billie Jean King Cup finals this year. Austin only knows the championship results from her playing days in the event, as her American teams won the crown in 1978, 1979 and 1980, the three years she competed. Shriver, one of the greatest doubles players of all time, was on the USA Cup winning teams in 1986 and 1989 and was 19-1 in singles and doubles during her time in the competition. They will be joined Chanda Rubin, who represented the USA five times and posted a 7-3 singles record and 1-0 doubles record. She was also part of the 1999 cup championship team. Shelby Rogers was on the doubles team that won the most recent US championship in 2017 and rounds out Tennis Channel’s on-air team this week.

Coverage of the Billie Jean King Cup Finals on Tennis Channel and T2 will be part of the Center Court network’s worldwide programming, along with the ATP Men’s Finals. All matches can be watched live and on demand on the network’s app and website.

Davenport’s American team is led by the world number 11 singles star Danielle Collins and No. 5 World double sensation Taylor Townsend. Caroline Dolehide (No. 14, double), Peyton Stearns (No. 48, single) and Ashlyn Krueger (No. 65, doubles) complete the American list.
