TaylorMade has introduced an innovative fit metric with the Qi35 line of drivers: closing rate.
Closure rate measures how quickly the clubface rotates through impact, providing valuable insight into a golfer’s swing.
The degree of closure measurement is used to match golfers to the ideal shaft during the fitting process. The closure rate emphasizes consistency and distribution. Combined with TaylorMade’s partnerships with Foresight and TrackMan, this approach to fit makes the Qi35 one of the most convenient drivers on the market.
Improved center of gravity (CG) placement.
Qi formation35 features TaylorMade’s lowest center of gravity (CG) in over a decade, providing more spin control. More spin control should help players get a few more yards.

Built-in assembly technology with built-in Predictive markers
One of the unique features in Connecting Qi35 drivers IS integrated assembly technology integrated into SelectFit heads. These are specialized heads designed specifically for fitting sessions, not retail versions sold to the general public. Retail heads do not have markers built in, but do include instructions or pointers to aid in placement of external mounting adhesives.
Unlike traditional methods where external adhesives are applied to the clubface during assembly, TaylorMade has built six reflective markers fit directly onto the carbon face. Markers are placed under the outer layer of polymer. This ensures that they are seamlessly integrated and do not interfere with performance or aesthetics.
SelectFit heads are for use with Foresight launch monitors. They will help you get a more accurate mounting experience with the Qi35.
Price and value options
Retail prices for Conductor Qi35 range from $599.99 to $649.99. For those on a bigger budget who want a sleeker aesthetic, the $649.99 Designer Series is a good fit.
While the Qi35 drivers set a new standard for performance, the discounted Qi10 drivers from 2024 remain a great option. If you don’t want to break the bank, consider the Qi10.
