We’ve talked about this kind of thing before. As we move deeper into the golf season (and especially in the second year of the life cycle of each driver), brands begin to withdraw all the stops to connect the player who somehow resisted their initial charm attack.
In recent weeks we have seen a limited edition driver, a limited edition golf ball, even a chipotle -themed limited head that makes you question both your life choices and the state of modern marketing.
Strange does not begin to cover it.

What I’m driving is this: if you haven’t bought a Qi35 driver yet, Taylormade hopes that this latest offers of the stylist series will finally separate you from your money. And, boy, they brought some… ElEctions.
Gold designer and platinum series
This last decrease in the designer Taylormade Qi35 series brings two distinct coloring that ask the question “Are you absolutely sure about it?”
WHEREAS Golden AND Platinum Technically they are separate offers, I’m gathering them together because they both represent the same basic question: “What if just … went for it?”
Let’s start with a context from the Taylormade design team.
“The interesting thing about the series of stylists is that we can do this only in limited quantities and this allows us to do something out of the norm. Whether they are sourced by paintings and pigments, like they are applied, or by attracting inspiration from different places like aeronautics or automotive industry, is a continuous learning and evolution process.” – Robert Nunez, the main designer of product creation
When I first read “Gold and Platinum” in the press announcement, I assumed that we were talking about tastes – maybe some of the delicate highlights here and there, nothing too bright.
I was wrong. So much wrong.

Available at the QI35 and QI35 Max, the Tayormade gold and platinum options represent a full commitment to what can only be described as “Maximum visual impact“When they said” gold “they would say golden– the whole club (minus the text of the face and accent) is gold. Not gold-y. Not inspired by gold. bear
The same goes for “platinum” which means that the whole damn thing is silver and proud of it.
It is a bold, cotton strategy.
On the one hand, I am truly impressed. Each full route represents a volatile design The choice that refuses to apologize for himself. Something refreshing for a company that says, “You know what? Let’s make a gold driver and see what happens.”
On the other hand … wow! These things will be visible from the spatial station. I’m not completely sure how the golf world will react when someone appears to the first thesis with what looks like a trophy instead of a driver.

verdict
I need to know what you think about these.
Released earlier this year, the first option of the Gloss Black series was essentially Aaron the judge facing a fan of the jokes-made, guaranteed with guaranteed people, intended for success.
This is another conversation entirely. I think it’s easier to be brave when you are just making limited quantities, but someone will have to be the first person to attract one of these from their bag in their home course. This requires a special kind of faith.
Or a complete lack of consciousness. The jury is still out.
