Around this time last year, one of the hottest hammers on the market was that TaylorMade Spider Tour X Proto. Everyone was interested in getting their hands on the milled face Spider X prototype that Scottie Scheffler was experimenting with.
The retail Spider Tour X Proto that TaylorMade sold wasn’t quite the same as what Scheffler was using on the PGA Tour, but it was close enough to promote rubber purchases.
