Some of me want them to hit a TP logo in the toe, but, to be right, that would require a proper tour -level shaft (or adjacent to the tours).
And the head of the head? In what I think is now a signature feature of Taylormade mini offers, is reversible.
Stock shaft R7 Quad Mini
The shares of the stock is Fujura Speeder MD (mini driver). According to Taylormade, MD developed to maintain rotation and stability – all keeping weight in control.
That sounds good in theory. In practice, not so much.
Taylormade remains the only OEM with the big name still playing the “Made For” shaft game. And while this MD has the fastest name attached, it is not from the same family tree as the premium things. Fujura usually does not produce faster shafts in China and this should tell you everything you need to know.
I am not saying that it will not work for you but it is sure to assume that it has been selected for reasons that have to do with all the cost reduction and not much more.
Final thoughts
R7 Quad Mini is more than just a retro resurrection. It is a regenerated classic to meet today’s standards. It just happens to be wrapped in one of Taylormade’s most beloved models. She again brings many of what the players loved about the Quad R7 and gives it to a more versatile, compact package.
