Tamim Iqbal blasts and savagely digs Zakir Hasan after dismissing Muhammad Rizwa

Ex-Bangladesh batsman Tamim Iqbal has done a cunning study Mohammad Rizvan Explaining the dismissal of Zakir Hasan in the ongoing India vs Bangladesh Test at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

The Bangladesh opener failed to impress with the bat on Friday (September 20). After India were bowled out for 376 runs, the onus fell on Shadman Islam and Zakir to give their team a good start. However, they could not achieve this.

He left for the first time after being rejected by Islam jasprit bumrah for two. Then Zakir Hasan left. On the first ball of the ninth over, the southpaw won with a clean sweep Akash Deep. It was an angled delivery from the right-arm pacer and the Bangladesh batsman went for the drive.

However, he could not make any contact with the ball. The slip attempt also left a gap between the bat and the pad and the ball went through that gap before uprooting the middle stump.

Zakir Hasan was having some problems on the preview screen before he was fired. And as he got out, veteran commentator Harsha Bhogle asked his fellow commentators if the issue played a role in his dismissal.

However, none of this was to be had as Tamim Iqbal dug out Zakir Hasan and also spared Pakistan wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan. Rizwan is known for his antics on the ground and Tamil Iqbal said Zakir may have learned this from the Pakistani star.

“Zakir is just coming back from Pakistan, maybe he’s getting it from Mohammad Rizwan, who has problems everywhere,” Tamim Iqbal said.

Talking about the game, Team India is firmly in the driver’s seat in the Test. Batting first, India were reduced to 34 for 3 and then 144 for 6. Nice shots though Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja bailed India out of trouble and took them to a competitive total of 376 runs.

Ashwin scored 113 runs and Jadeja scored 86 runs. For Bangladesh, Hasan Mahmud Taskin Ahmed 3 and Bangladesh were bowled out for a total of 149 runs with the bat. Jasprit Bumrah took 4 wickets while Akash Deep, Mohammed Siraj and Ravindra Jadeja took 2 wickets each. In the second innings, India finished the day at 81 for 3 to extend their total lead to 308 runs.
