On Monday, November 18, Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) announced the squads for the ODIs and T20Is. series Against Pakistan National Cricket Team.
Craig Ervine will lead the ODI team while Sikandar Raza will captain the T20I team against Pakistan, who will enter the series with 2-1 and 0-3 results in Australia’s ODI and T20I series.

Pakistan and Zimbabwe will lock horns in 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is
The Pakistan tour of Zimbabwe 2024 will consist of a three-match ODI series and a three-match T20I series. All matches of the series are scheduled to be played at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo.
The first ODI will be played on Sunday, November 24, while the next two matches will be played on Tuesday, November 26 and Thursday, November 28.
Meanwhile, the T20I action will begin on Sunday, December 1. After that, the last two matches will be played on Tuesday, December 3 and Thursday, December 5.

ODI squad led by Craig Ervine includes Sikandar Raza, Sean Williams, Blessed Muzarabaniand Richard Ngarawa, as well as three wicket-takers, Trevor Gwandu, Tashinga Musekiwa and Tinotenda Maposa.
Speaking about the ODI squad, Zimbabwe’s Convenor of Selectors, David Mutendera, said they have picked an all-round team that can challenge the Men in Green.
“The series against Pakistan is an important platform for Zimbabwe and we believe that the ODI squad we have selected is comprehensive,” he said.
“Having experienced players like Craig, Sikandar and Sean provide stability, while young players like Clive Madande, Brian BennettDion Myers and the uncapped trio bring energy and potential for game-changing moments.
On the T20I side of things, Chevrons will be led by Sikandar Raza and the likes of Ervine, Williams and Joylord Gumbie have been left out.
Talking about the T20I squad, Mutendera said they need continuity, so they have backed most of the players from the previous campaign. He elaborated:
“We felt it was important to keep the same T20I squad that excelled in Kenya. This continuity allows the team to build on the unity and trust that underpins their superior performance.”
