
The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 which will begin on February 7 and continue till March 8 with a total of twenty elite teams competing in the T20I format. This tenth edition marks the biggest expansion in the tournament’s history and co-hosting. India and Sri Lanka in eight symbolic spaces. The eventual champion India will face the tournament at home USA At Mumbai’s historic Wankhede Stadium.
The tournament is divided into four groups:
- Group A Includes India, Pakistan, USA, Netherlands and Namibia.
- Group B It consists of Australia, Sri Lanka, Ireland, Zimbabwe and Oman.
- Group C It consists of England, West Indies, Scotland, Nepal and Italy.
- Group D It includes South Africa, New Zealand, Afghanistan, Canada and the UAE.
Each team will play the others in their group once, with the top two from each advancing to the Super 8 stage. Note that when the tournament is co-hosted, all PakistanMatches against Sri Lanka are scheduled, including the much-anticipated clash against India in Colombo.
Key matches to watch include the big-scoring encounter between India and Pakistan on February 15. The semi-finals are scheduled for March 4 and 5, leading up to the final on March 8 at the world’s largest cricket stadium, the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, bringing the month-long festival of cricket to a grand conclusion.
