The former leg-spinner went a step further and claimed that Pakistan’s earlier rhetoric about boycotting the India match may have been less humiliating than the way the game unfolded. His comments highlighted the embarrassment many felt after the heavy defeat.

“Honestly, the boycott could have been less embarrassing. #INDvsPAK,” Kaneria wrote in X.

Ishan Kishan took India to a big total before the bowlers bowled out Pakistan

In the field, India took control early on thanks to its strong batting Ishan Kishi. The left-hander attacked Pakistan’s bowling with confidence and precision, scoring 77 off just 40 balls. His explosive innings laid the foundation for India’s strong total of 175. Pakistan’s bowlers struggled to find consistency, hitting crucial boundaries at key moments. Chasing 176, Pakistan never looked determined.
