Tevin Farmer complains about the absence of drug testing in his 10-round split decision loss to lightweight contender William Zepeda last Saturday night in Riyadh. Boer (33-7-1, 8 KOs) wants to know why he and Zepeda (32-0, 27 KOs) were not tested, and he is not happy.

The lanky Zepeda looked and fought the same way he always does, throwing more than 1,000 punches in a more one-sided fight than the scores produced by the three judges. They scored it 95-94 x 2 for Zepeda and 95-94 for Farmer. I had it 9-1 for Zepeda, with Farmer winning the fourth round first.
Farmer who muddies the water
It’s unclear whether former IBF super featherweight champion Farmer is generally worried or trying to muddy the waters over his loss, tarnishing Zepeda’s win by hinting at foul play. Farmer doesn’t get much sympathy on social media from fans, some of whom call him out “stop crying.” It’s always pathetic when a fighter just can’t accept defeat, and Farmer seems like a classic example.
Zepeda always fights the same way, throwing over 100 punches per round, and this fight was no different. Boer couldn’t handle the output, especially the body shots that hit him like a fire hair attached to the side of a ship. Boer let go just long enough to land a shot before grabbing Zepeda again, and it was bad to watch.
Some point out that it would have been worse for Farmer if he hadn’t been “pushing” Zepeda all night and trying to keep him from getting knocked out. Farmer’s hold was extreme, leading some to wonder why the referee, Harvey Dock, did not penalize him. There must have been point deductions because Farmer went way overboard and used it as his main defensive tool.
Why weren’t Zepeda and I drug tested? I asked several times in the locker room before we fought. They said after the fight. And still no test. I’m just saying. Box is dirty. You never know. Thanks to all my supporters

Every other championship fight on the card has been drug tested. Why not me and Zepeda? I have so many questions. I kept asking before the fight. They told me after the fight “oh we were short manned” how ? It was only 6 fights on the card.
