Fulham made a strong comeback from the FA Cup, defeating Stoke City 2-1 at the Bet365 Stadium thanks to Harrison Reed’s late winner.
This tie in the fifth round saw Championship side Stoke City aiming for an upset against a Fulham side that usually struggled in the Premier League. The Potters were hoping to build on their home advantage in a classic cup encounter.

Fulham’s dominance finally told. With just six minutes left in regulation time, Harrison Reed smashed home the decisive goal. That dramatic strike in the 84th minute crushed Stoke’s hopes of an upset.
Fulham showed their quality with 67% possession and 17 total shots, 8 of which tested the goalkeeper. Stoke registered 8 shots, with 3 on target, while Simkin made 6 crucial saves.
