I’m really obsessive when it comes to my golf bag and headgear and I’ve searched high and low for the perfect ones. I can confidently say that Sew SL2 Gen 2 it is the best golf bag i have ever owned. It’s clean, built like something that actually deserves the premium word, and has a throwback feel without looking like you’re playing like Sam Snead. Simply put, it respects the game’s heritage by embracing clean, modern sport, and considering Stitch’s racing heritage, it makes sense.

Sew it’s a brand that I discovered by accident, and when I did, it was just one of those brands that totally hooked me. SL2 Generation 2AND Roadster AND savior headdresses a try.

Two days later, a large box from Stitch was on my porch and I opened it right away. I couldn’t believe how good everything looks and feels in real life. The materials feel and look premium, the details are fantastic, and everything about it screams heritage, sport and most importantly function… It’s one of those bags that looks just as good in the first trunk as it does in the first strap. And now, it is 30% discount during Stitch’s Anniversary salewhich almost never happens. If you’ve been thinking about upgrading to something that will outlast every trend in your lineup, now is the time to do it—you won’t regret it. You’ll instantly become that guy with the sick bag and headgear, and that’s totally okay.
Heritage design meets modern sport
There’s a fine line between minimal and boring. Stitch understands that line better than almost anyone in golf. of SL2 Generation 2 it looks and feels like it was designed by someone who is obsessed with and appreciates the history of golf and plays regularly, but also cares about modern design, practicality and performance. Think of it this way: if this bag were a car, it would be a Porsche 911. This bag just nails it in the looks department.

Looks aside, this bag works. I hate club clutter in a bag and have gone through countless bags over the years because of it. of SL2 Generation 2 it has full-length spacers, so luckily the club mess is greatly reduced. I can easily fit 14 clubs inside with little to no real problems. The pocket layout is efficient, not overdone. You have room for everything you need: rangefinders, tips, balls and water, even a jacket if you need it. Even the aluminum support legs feel premium and are some of the sturdiest feeling I’ve ever used.
Quiet confidence in a loud device market
Golf equipment is all the rage these days (Jason Day, I’m looking at you). of SL2 Generation 2 it’s the opposite of that. It is safe without trying to prove it. Stitch’s aesthetic leans more towards bespoke tailoring than streetwear, and it shows. The brand calls it “dress your game,” which sounds like marketing until you see the bag next to everything else on the market. Then it clicks. To really make it feel like mine, I personalized my bag with my initials: IAM, and it looks great.

Mine is in the navy and white combo, which seems timeless. It has a real balance: sporty yet polished, simple yet not sterile. It looks and feels high-end without looking like it’s trying to be, and in my opinion, that’s how you know you’ve got a good product.
How to save on a bag that almost never goes on sale
Stitch is celebrating Anniversary saleAND SL2 Generation 2 it’s 30% offa discount they almost never have on this model. The SL2 Gen 2 retails for $398, and the discount brings it down to $278.60. This brings the price down to a point where it competes directly with mid-range bags… That means if you’re in the market for a new bag or just want to go the premium route, this is an easy call. If you’re browsing the rest of their lineup, here’s how the discounts break down:
- 20% OFF $100+ — use code DRESSYOURGAME
- 25% OFF $200+ — use code FROMWORKTOPLAY
- 30% OFF $300+ — use code ARRIVEINSTYLE
But for this particular bag, 30% off is a steal. These sales don’t last long, and Stitch stock tends to move quickly, especially in popular colors. So again, if you’re looking to upgrade your bag, take the advice of a small upstart athletic brand: just do it.
