Australia National Cricket Team striker Steve Smith wore the golden jersey in the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL) 2024-25. He came up with another vital hand for his battered team in the ongoing game against the Adelaide Strikers at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide.
Chasing a total of 183 runs, Australia National Cricket Team batting opener Steve Smith made sure to give his team a vital start. The batsman, who scored a century in the last game, came up with another magical effort with the bat.

Smith didn’t get the support he wanted from the others in the chase, but he made sure he played his part perfectly. The premier batsman bowled the ball to perfection and hit the Adelaide Strikers bowlers all over the park.
Smith was sure of it, and was not afraid of the caps falling on the other end Sydney Sixers kept his running speed on track. The batsman oozed class with the bat and put the opposition under pressure to score a magnificent half-century in the match.
While his innings was to be praised by all, Steve Smith also put in a brilliant effort to save his own wicket. It happened in the 4th over when Henry Thornton bowled the first over and nearly scored.
Henry Thorton hit a backhand shot on middle and leg. Steve Smith tried to whip him and hit the pads. The ball almost rolled onto the stumps. But the batsman used the bat perfectly to keep the ball away and save his wicket.
