Peyton Stearns It has been struggling with a stomach issue for several weeks. Wonderful she achieved victory over Dayana Yastmska, ounce Jabaur and Zheng Qinwen during her journey to Doha and Dubai.
Now the 43rd rank American knows the reasons for her battles: E. Coli.
“These last three weeks have been a fierce journey …. strange stomach pain, exhaustion, bathroom trips and not knowing what is happening,” 23-year-old Stearns wrote on social media. “After many rehearsals, I finally discovered that E. coli was the culprit. Been is disappointing not knowing what was wrong, but now that I do, I can focus on improvement.

Stearns, who has already played 14 matches in season (7-7), says he hopes to turn into full strength in Indian Wells.
