Stanionis: Ennis Sparring ‘doesn’t matter’

Eimantas Stanionis says he doesn’t care that Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis recently brought in the former two -time welterweight champion Shawn Porter for Sparring, and’ Showtime ‘was impressed by Boots’ power during the two rounds.

The WBA champion of the WBA pound, Stanionis (15-0, 9 COs), mentions that he doubts that he believes it was more about the 37-year-old porter haunted with IBF Champ Boots (33-0, 29 COs) so he could talk about it on his podcast on YouTube. Porter has a popular channel with 88,000 subscribers.

Boots’ last outing

Ennis against Stanionis will fight on April 12 in a unification on Dazn in the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The fight is seen as a 50-50 one in the view of the box public. Boots would probably have been the favorite if they fought with Karen Chukhadzhian last year before his re -broadcast, but after the performance it is difficult to give him the lead.

Karen cut off Ennis’s head through the first nine rounds and even pushed him out. In the championships, Ennis arrived after Karen came out. It was still a shocking bad performance by boots and much worse than his first battle against Chukhadzhian in January 2023.

Jaron’s game did not improve from the first fight at all, showing he is too much. Karen came close to beating him, like a miniature Artur Betterbiev with how he got out of the way.

During the build -up of the struggle, Ennis repeatedly promised Karen to take out and said, “Once I started my pleasure (the knockout would come.” Boots looked miserable in the rematch and did not have a pleasure. On the press conference after the battle, he hid his eyes behind shades and wished he was invisible, while with questions from the media.

Stanionis is a better puncher than Chukhadzhian, and he can do many of the same smooth movements as he showed against boots.

Stanionis’s discharge

“I don’t think he brought him in. It was just for Shawn Porter’s podcast or something. It was just a one -time thing, ‘Eimantas Stanionis said Fighting type When asked about his thoughts on Shawn Porter who praised Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis’ Power when they recently haunted.

“I don’t care about any sparring. He can bring a gorilla and save with it. It doesn’t matter. I do my work, and on April 12 we will see who did the best in training camp and who has the better skills. I take day by day with training and remain disciplined. ‘
