Rebecca Sramkova wasn’t in the mood for a consolation prize today.
A week after being runner-up in Monastir, the 27-year-old Sramkova won her first career title in Hua Hin.

Sramkova defeated the world number 102 Laura Siegemund 6-4, 6-4 to win the Thailand Open title in Hua Hin.
The Bratislava-born first baseman recorded her ninth win in her last 10 games.
Sramkova’s big triumph came a week after she lost in the British qualifier Sonay Kartal 6-3, 7-5 in the Monastir final.
Today, Sramkova broke Siegemund’s serve four times in a victory of 1 hour and 56 minutes.
