Corruption will cost six players a few years from their future game career.
Six current and previous players have been hit with suspensions and a fine for arranging matches in criminal offenses in what the International Tennis Integrity Agency calls “historical acts of corruption”.

Sanctions are linked to a criminal case heard in 2023 that includes a match adjustment union in Belgium.
The cooperation between the itia and the Belgian authorities led to a carefully five-year sentence for the union leader, Grigor SargsyanItia said in a statement.

Five of the players accepted violations, regarding matches played in 2017 and/or 2018. The three French tennis players accepted agreed sanctions, giving up their right to a hearing in front of an independent anti -corruption hearing officer (Aho ).

Jerome Inzerillo; The suspension began on October 27, 2024, and will end on May 26, 2030.
42-year-old David Guez, who reached a single -world single -career standard of 116 in July 2010, accepted an agreed sanction for four years, with a fine of $ 25,000, of which $ 17,500 has been suspended. The suspension began on October 25, 2024, and will end on October 24, 2028.
Romain Bauvy, Age 30, who reached a double sequence of the 758th career world in March 2016, accepted the same sanction. The suspension began on November 6, 2024, and will end on November 5, 2028.
Two players demanded that their issues refer to an independent anti -corruption hearing official (AHO) to determine the sanction. Aho Janie Soublière ruled for French tennis cases Yannick Jankovits and François-Artur Vibert.
The 38-year-old Jankovits, who reached a single-world single career-world ranking of 226 in September 2015, has been suspended for two years, and is fined $ 28,000, of which $ 21,000 has been suspended. The suspension began on October 21, 2024, and will expire on October 20, 2026. The full decision can be read by clicking here.
The 34-year-old Vibert, who reached a single-world single-career standard of 591 in September 2012, has been suspended for two years and three months, and fined $ 35,000, of which $ 28,500 has been suspended. Agustin Moyano34, from Argentina, who reached a high single career standing in 1343 in September 2015, denied the allegations and requested a full hearing. Aho Charles Hollander KC placed the issue, releasing Moyano with a suspension of 15 years, and a fine of $ 10,000. The suspension began on December 2, 2024, and will end on December 1, 2039.
During their suspensions, players are forbidden to play, exercise in, or participate in any tennis or sanctioned tennis event by members of ITIA (ATP, ITF, WTA, Tenis Australia, Fédération Française de Tennis, Wimledon and Usta) or any national associations.
